Dear Kai

I have had no time for blogging... because... BABY KAI  IS HERE!!!

I know you all want to hear a baby Kai birth story, but ill save you all the trouble of reading a story about Juan and I sitting and waiting and waiting and pushing and pushing and then having Kai.

Ill give you the short version.
At about 1 pm on Sunday April 7th contractions started while watching General Conference. We got to the hospital at about 2 and we  were admitted. At about nine we started pushing. I got a fever and therefor cutting my epidural. They thought  Kai and I might have an infection of some kind (which turns out we didnt). So needless to say... It hurt.. a lot. Kai decided she liked to spice things up and was coming facing up instead of down so then doctors decided to us forceps... Obviously adding to the pain.
At 11:42 pm baby Kai was born at the Orem Intermountian Hospital. She weighed 7.27 lbs and was 19.5 inches long. She was born a health little girl with big brown eyes and the cuties small features ever. :)

This little bundle of joy has had us very busy. She is super awake and strong. We love her and that is the story of Kai.... Short and sweet..

Im now a full mormon mammy

geeee...I have no idea when things got  so crazy, but there has been little time for me time.. and the little me time I do get I spend it rubbing the tummy and sleeping :)
This is my second week working on my owen at MKVO and wow has it been quit a learning curve!! I had been working at Alpine for so long that I was at such a stand still and had not had to learn anything new. But now, Im full on learning! Today and last night were printing days so we were really busy. But I really really have enjoyed it.

Kai is so big!!! I have no idea how big but I do know that she is always on my bladder making me run to the bathroom every hour or so. Diaz family is remodeling the other bathroom so for this week we have only 1 functioning bathroom.... and one really pregnant lady... Im sure you can imagine what im going through. Im enjoying her kicks though. I no longer have numbing feelings on the ribs, so im assuming that she has now shifted down lower-- which could also mean she is coming soon!!! whoot whoot. Baby shower is planned and set for the 23 so she has to wait until then. (not that she would care im sure.)

Juan and I have finally worked on Kais closet and it looks great! Just need to cover the boxes. But im happy with it.
But guess what!!!
Yes I did it!!
I made something for Kai almost all by myself.
I went and bought the fabric I wanted and
I made my baby gal a cute cover for her car seat!
:) I sowed it all by myself :)
and I love it.. Cuz I made it with love haha
I guess im now a mormon mammy
